You don't really get rid of the slack until the stopper it's adjusted nearly all the way out: I have a supercharger, not sure if that makes a difference. WebJul 19, 2009 · They dont like to downshift very easily, the cable adjustment will help. Mine was very loose also, make small changes to it, and test drive. Unless I've been reading things wrong, the other is the "throttle" cable that has a red rubber "boot" on the end of the threads on the throttle body side of the bracket, and the "bead" on the cable. in4 professionals
