To use the rear, you have to buy the FITCAMX package that includes the rear camera - there's a 2nd cable coming out of the front camera to power the rear and send the recording to the same card up front. WebIt’s really well designed and the front-facing simple model of the FitCamX is a breeze to install. I bought the version which also has a second rear-facing input… it works okay (the second signal is just blank/blue). Still not brave enough to run the wires to the back for a second, rear-facing camera — but there’s a version that has it.
