WebThe Doel-fin has no drawbacks I can put my finger on. With the tabs down I get a top speed of about 40mph with a 200hp outboard. I guess that's 2-4 mph slower than what the chart shows on the reference page on this forum. The boat planes very fast with the tabs down.
