I recently set one of mine up with wilcox plastic shroud with lanyard/Rhino2/pvs15 socket/new noisefighter plastic jarm and it's pretty comfortable. I have the rear pouch but haven't done the additional strap yet. WebAug 10, 2024 · [#1] I bought the crye nightcap after a fair look around at options. Didn't feel need for a $1000 ballistic helmet. Did not see anything else. I'm a cheap ass, there is a certain price of admission to NV I am learning. I expect to want a helmet at some point. I wanted nightcap to help pack down small. It is not as comfortable as a bump helmet, a lot of people find the chin strap to be poorly patterned - the chin cup never actually sat under my chin when I used it. Seems like you know this. I have a Wilcox 3-hole shroud that was simple to attach. You'll also need a J-arm to attach the 14 to the G-11.
